Alpinestars built the Tech 10 boots leaving nothing behind in arguably the most technologically advanced boot on the market. The Tech 10 boots have been designed to offer the highest level of safety without compromising comfort. Alpinestars was able to accomplish this with their revolutionary dual hinged inner brace. By placing a dual hinge point on the inner brace of the Tech 10 boots, Alpinestars brings the support closer to your ankle with optimum protection. Getting all this protection doesn't sacrifice the free flow motion thanks to years of development. Alpinestars designed the exterior of the brace out of polyurethane while the interior features a poly fabric lining with open cell foam to absorb shock to the ankle and heal. The ultra thin and flexible forefoot allows for control feedback to easily flow through the Tech 10 boots. The ultra low profile design of the outer shell of the Tech 10 boots allows for additional control. The slim design of the Tech 10 boots also shaves weight off and increases flexibility. Alpinestars developed a rear polyurethane spine that helps keep the Tech 10 boots from hyperextension. The full-grain leather upper of the Alpinestars Tech 10 boots break in quickly. This feature paired with the impact and abrasion resistant polyurethane provide a high level of safety. The Tech 10 boots have polyurethane protection on the toes, foot, heel, ankle, calf and shin with extra hard compounds on the toe-box, heel and Achilles tendon. The sole construction of the Alpinestars Tech 10 boots offer a dual compound design that offers a sure foot grip where its needed and a rigid platform for extra protection. The advanced closure system on the Tech 10 include 3 techno-polymer and aluminum buckles that have memory positioning and quick release/locking system that self-align. The self-aligning buckles make it simple and easy to operate. Alpinestars uses a combination of full-grain leather and polyurethane panels to provide maximum grip while offering heat and abrasion resistance. The opening of the Tech 10 boots are lined with a polyurethane gasket to keep the water out. Alpinestars offers their airflow ventilation system on the white model of the Tech 10 boots.

"I have approximately 100hrs of MX track time on these boots. From what I understand these are suppose to be a Race day boot and not necessarily the super rugged long haul boot. I don't know if that is totally true or not but I do know that so far mine have held up very well. First of all these boots are very comfortable and very easy to ride in. This boot has an inner booty system that is very well made with interchangeable ankle support braces for a customizable fit. (mine came with two sets) I don't find that the booty system makes this boot too bulky like some say. It's very nice to be able to throw the booties in the wash and always have fresh boots. Another advantage of the booty is when you might have an injury. In a particularly nasty crash I had I broke my tib, fib and dislocated my ankle. With the booty system I was able to hold the strap of the booty while the boot was pulled off. It provided support and stability and I had no extra pain or damage from pulling the boot off. With a normal boot I believe it would have been excruciating.
The exterior of the boot has only seen minor seam separation on the inner part of the boot where it rubs against the frame. The soles have held up very well with very minimal wear so far.
The only negative that I have for these boots is the buckle system. I hate it. These buckles are such pain to get closed! It starts ok but gets progressively worse over time.
All in all I think this is a great boot. Would be five stars if the buckles weren't so difficult to close. Like all boots these days they are way too expensive. Luckily for me I got the from Motosport as leftovers.

"This rotor kit provides massive stopping power with a smoothe progressive feel. This has become one of my automatic upgrades whenever I get a new bike. Stock rotors feel like cheap toys in comparison. I don't know what the difference is between this and the tsunami kit but this rotor performs so well, and at $100 less, I don't really care."

"It is true, as stated in the other review, these gloves do fall apart. It should be noted however that the parts that do fall apart are not really important to the function of the glove. I have had two pairs of these and they were both the Same. The rubber on the wrist Velcro would come apart from the actual Velcro piece. The earlier models had a lot more "bling" on them and all of the bling would fall off. Basically everything that was glued on would fall off. It did start falling off in about 5 rides.
They glove itself fits very well and is comfortable. The non padded palm is great for feel and control. The inside of the glove is smooth and doesn't cause any hot spots. Some gloves are horrible for this and cause massive blisters which of course rip open as soon as they are formed. Not this pair. I have about 50hrs of mx track time on each pair that I own and they are still holding up pretty well. All the stitching is in tacked and no holes in the palms. I will probably buy other pair unless I can find something that I like better."

"Very nice light weight helmet. Graphics look great, even better than how it appears in the pictures. Beautiful glossy finish and the interior is super high quality and is probably, no, definitely is the most comfortable helmet I've ever had on (fox, shoei, arai, bell,hjc). The overall construction of this helmet is very solid with some nice finishing touches. Velcro on the chin strap, all titanium hardware, extra visor, plugs for the vents, the drylex liner is money and the helmet bag is without a doubt the best included bag in the market. I am very happy and impressed with this helmet and I am again impressed with Fly products. This company seems to produce equally high or higher quality products but at a lower price point than the competition.
SIZING NOTE: according to flys sizing chart I fall into the small category. I ordered a medium and it fits perfectly. There is however no way that I would fit into anything smaller. Just be aware when ordering."

"My biggest issue when ordering pants is how they are going to fit. The issue is usually how the knees are built. Some pants are really baggy at the knees in order to fit knee braces. This is not good if you don't use braces. These pants fit really well for people that don't use braces. The fit is actually a little on the snug side. They are pretty comfortable while riding but if I order these again I will order 1 or 2 sizes up. Over all I am pretty happy with these. You can't beat them for the price."
