The Renthal Fatbar features a tapered outer wall resulting in a 1-1/8" (28.6 mm) clamping diameter and 7/8" diameter at the control ends. This profiled wall and braceless design combines excellent strength with good flexibility. KTM and Suzuki have chosen the Renthal Fatbar as the ultimate braceless handlebar and fit them as original equipment where this design is preferred within their range. The Renthal Fatbar has the following features: 1-1/8" (28.6 mm) large diameter clamping area. Tapered wall construction to 7/8" (22.2 mm) allows fitment of standard grips and controls. Braceless design. 7010 T6 aluminum - Renthal has exclusive rights to this specifically developed alloy designed for the manufacture of handlebars. Shot peened surface finish to help prevent fatigue failure. Knurled grip area increases bonding between bars and grips. No knurling in clamp area, this could cause stress on the riser and lead to fatigue failure. Anodizing - a 15 step anodizing process forms an integral coating giving protection against corrosion. Laser-etched positioning grid. Available in a variety of bends and colors to offer a custom fit on the bike. Notes: Requires oversized 1-1/8" bar mounts. Bar pad not included. Renthal. We build championships.

Flex vs. Strength

Even though this bar has more flex, will it still be as strong as renthal's standard 7/8 bars

For use with twist throttle, includes left and right grip. Base material is reinforced with millions of randomly aligned Kevlar fibers, continued use exposes more fibers increasing the percentage of Kevlar at the grip surface. Three times the life of the regular compound allowing the use of a very supple matrix material.

Does sand stick easily?

I ride in sandy conditions, and are these grips too tacky, and will they attract sand more?

Limited edition padding kits complete with decals to customize your brace. Leatt-Brace sold separately. Fits both small and medium sized Club or Sport braces. Decals will not fit Adventure brace but padding is compatible.

With the Leat padding kit why will the padding fit the adventure brace but not not the decals, can i make them fit(cut them)?
i would suggest the padding kit because with the stickers it may not stick good on the foam and may ruin it. if you ever try to take it off it might rip the top coating of the foam off the brace. since the adventure doesnt have the fabric cover like the gpx and higher models and only has the bare foam, i would not risk ruining the surface of the brace.

What is the mid pipe for?

I don't think that my crf250r has one on the stock header, so I' a little confused. How this is going to work does the muffler just fit on the stock header without the mid pipe or do you have to put the mid pipe on to fit the muffler? why does it come with it?
basically the mid pipe connects the header and the muffler. if you have a dual system, it is the piece that comes right behind the mud flap that looks like a Y. every bike has a mid pipe. if you get a plain slip-on muffler, then the muffler just conncts to the stock mid pipe

Can you do this?

If you have a dual exhaust system is it ok to put on just a single exhaust or does it have to be dual?
it is alright to replace the stock dually system with this single system. instead of having the split mid pipe, it will just come right off the back like other single systems. personally, i think the dual system looks better than thesingle. as with any exhaust system, you may have to change your jetting based on location and other mods you have on your bke.

Does this kit come with the piece that attaches the strap to the flap?

all this comes with is just the actual strap. its the piece that slides into buckle only, not the whole entire leather flap that connects to the boot.

Is the back part removable to wear as a front protection only?

yes it is. the back foam piece just slides out of the strap. there is still a four point strap on the back and you dont even feel it or notice it. i wear this under my jersey with the leatt on top and cant even notice the protector. also, the front top piece can come off for the neck brace for even better fitment... definitely recommend this product.
