can i just replace intake springs&valves?
My exhaust vales r fine, can i just replace intake valves&springs?Or should i replace exhaust springs too,and use stovk valves?Or do i replace exhaust vales, springs ,along with intake?
depends on how you ride.. if you like to bounce your bike off the limiter, which is probably part of the reason your intake valves are fried to begin with, then DO NOT run kibblewhite springs with OEM honda valves.. if you are repairing a hammered bike that won't be abused, you could probably get away with using an oem valve with a kibblewhite spring and/or using a kibblewhite setup on intake side and leaving oem on exhaust.. the stiffer kibblewhite springs are made for the heavier and more durable stainless one-peice kibblewhite valves, you will rip your stock 2-peice friction welded titanium valve in half, i know because it happened to me.. destroyed my entire motor, spend the money on the entire kibblewhite spring and valve kit and not worry about your valves for a long, long time. (after break in/ valve seating period and re-shimming, of course)
