If you own tire irons, then you should own a set of these inexpensive protectors. Slip them between the wheel and tire to avoid expensive and ugly damage to your wheels.

"These protectors worked very well, held up for 2 tire changes with no damage to rim. Take your time and dont try and force the tire on."
