"The cover looks cool and fits well, but I had to grind my new shifter a little to allow clearance. I dont think it would work with a stock shifter either. Looks like it would keep the shifter from smashing into the ignition cover in the case of an unlucky crash. Thats why I bought it, although horribly expensive. Probably will never need it."
