Nice, but pricey

"There are other ways to mount the fuel can, but this is pretty trick. I bought one, but it was painfull to pay that much for a mount."

"Excellent product. Rock solid and practically bulletprooof. Had it covered in mud and it still worked like a charm when dispensing fuel."

Pretty good exhaust
October 27, 2010
"2004 Grizzly 660 - Had a different pipe but the bolts snapped when I went to re-build it. Picked this one up as a replacement. The sound is pretty loud, I ended up buying the quiet core for it. Even with that it's still pretty loud when getting on the gas. Don't buy this if you are going to try and hunt with your quad. Otherwise for genreral riding, it works fine.
Durability has been good, finish is ok. Tends to turn brownish gold over time. Power feels slightly better than stock.

No luck with my Grizzly 660
October 27, 2010
"2004 Grizzly 660 - I know my grizzly isn't jetted right. I bought this kit and had the dealer install it. It left a huge low end bog in the carb. They had to find a happy medium with needle clip to get it to run right messing with the air screw the entire time. By the time they were done it didn't run any better than the stock configuration.
The hard part is that it is such a pain to alter on this quad, it takes forever to tear everything apart each time to make adjustments. I was hoping for a magical fix, but this wasn't it."

Great product
August 30, 2010
"I put on about 300 miles last weekend in some extremely rough terrain and this tank and nozle worked great. I bolted it up onto the rack with the mount for sale seperately and left the nozle on. If never leaked a drop and was covered in mud. When it came time to fill up, it worked flawlessly. I am thinking about picking up the 4 gal version next."

Questionable for 04 Grizzly 660
August 30, 2010
"04 Grizzly 660 - I bought this kit and had my dealer install it while some other work was being done. The top end was screaming powerful, but there was a huge dead zone in the bottom end that made it stall. You might get lucky if you have some different components, I was running a penland pro exhuast and K&N filter. They ended up having to adjust it to get it to run everywhere in the band, now it feels pretty much like it did before the kit. I am pretty disappointed."

Good Exhaust, but Very Loud for Utility Quad
August 30, 2010
"2004 Yamaha Grizzly 660 - Bolts up well, didn't notice much of a power increase over what I had, but I was changing from another aftermarket exhuast. Overall, not bad, but very loud. My buddies didn't even want to ride near me. I have since ordered the quiet core and will try that out to see if it will soften up a bit.
If you don't care about the sound, it's a great deal on closeout."

Simple plug-and-play application. Allows removal of the EXUP valve and motor without setting the dreaded check engine light when using a full racing exhaust. Furthers the weight savings after EXUP removal and allows for a cleaner appearance.

Works great, but too pricey
August 30, 2010
"2009 Yamaha FZ-1 I put new Two Brother exhaust on my bike and ended up removing the servo. The check engine light comes on when you do that. This little box plugs in line and works perfectly. It took longer to get out of the package than it did to install. Overall it is perfect, just too expensive for what it does. If you can't stand the check engine light on, I'd recommend getting one."

Cool Camera at a Great Price
March 15, 2010
"Buy the WIDE version. It is perfect for motorsports.
This thing can really take a beating. The video quality is pretty good considering how small it is. It's a little difficult to verify that it's recording.
It comes with a number of attachments to mount it to different surfaces. I never noticed the weight on my helmet, very light.
You can't beat what you get for the price. I think they have a new HD version coming out, but it's costs quite a bit more."

Great Single Exhaust
February 22, 2010
"2007 Yamaha Raptor 700 SE - I bought this full system including header to try and pick up better sound and more low end grunt. This definately did the trick. I had a noticable increase in low end torque along with great sound that's not obnoxious. I also have a power commander PC5 tuned for this exhaust. It works very well as a package.
Fitup was very good and pretty easy to install. Slip-on comes with all three inserts and spark arrestor. I didn't give it a 5 on durability becuase I haven't had it long enough to determine long-term durability. Quality is top notch out of the box."

jlevar's Questions

The hand-built stainless steel Head Pipe allows for one of the finest bolt-on modifications that you can add to your motorcycle or ATV. The unique design will enhance low to mid RPM power, making it the perfect choice for upgrading your stock system. Built using 304 stainless steel designed for maximum durability, corrosion resistance and style. Replaces stock head pipe. Will fit the O.E.M. or Pro Circuit Slip-On.

Is this considered a "low boy" head pipe?

I want to be able to lower my radiators on my 06 YZF450 without having to pay $800 for a Dr. D exhaust. I know I need a lower head pipe in order to do that. Will this head pipe allow me to do that if I purchase a rad lowering bracket kit as well?

Made of 6061 T-6 anodized aluminum. Shot-peen for added strength. Requires specific mounts to accommodate oversized (1-1/8) bars. Laser etched markings for precision fit. Pad included. "Solid Mounts" bolt on top of stock 7/8" bar mounts, and adds 1/4" rise. "Rubber Mounts" replace the stock bar mounts on CR/CRF, KX/KXF and RMZ models.

what bar should i pick.who are mostly like original raptor 700

Protaper makes a Contour oversized bar with a Raptor bend. Motosport has it on their site. I put one on mine and am very happy with it.
