Protection and safety were a huge priority to O'Neal in designing and building the Element Boots which can be see with the injection molded plastic shin plate. O'Neal added a generous amount of heel support and padding to maximize comfort. A thick leather heat shield is sewn into the inner leg of the O'Neal Element Boots to help protect against burns from the motorcycle exhaust.
