Geomax MX51 helps deliver enhanced grip, added tread longevity and a wider range of terrain applications, reaching farther into hard-pack conditions. Profile design provides more tread volume (greater land / sea ratio) in the shoulders for excellent cornering grip and a more open center-tread area for straight-line grip. Recessed biting edges in shoulder tread blocks yield enhanced traction for greater grip in corners and ruts throughout a wide range of terrain conditions. Tie-bar design connects and reinforces the tread blocks for greater tread stiffness, yielding improved intermediate-to-hard terrain performance. Recessed design in the area between tread blocks gives the tire improved compliance for enhanced ride comfort. Knobs are placed in a unique "cross-stitch" shoulder-block distribution for enhanced traction and grip in intermediate-to-hard riding conditions. Larger-radius tread block base for strength and enhanced tread longevity. Tire Specifications: Load / speed index: 63M. Recommended rim: 2.15". Overall diameter: 27.13". Overall width: 5.12". Full tread depth: 20/32". Maximum load (pounds) / PSI: N/A.
"I race vet 30 novice, I came off of a bridgestone 404, went to this tire because i heard it was AMAZING! well..... I had a different experience. mainly ride pala raceway, starwest, perris, and milestone, all have different dirt, I cant seem to find traction at any of the tracks with this tire, even when it was new, got about 5 rides out of it, which was about 2 weeks :( ouch, anyway, i would push you to the bridgestone 404, or the dunlop 952 for a comparable tire, but better traction than this one. I have an 08 crf 450"
