"I was indecisive about purchasing these for a while. My main concern was that they might not fit. I typically wear a 33 or 34, and wasn't sure how well these were sized to fit over other pants. I ordered these pants in a 34, and they had enough adjustment in them to fit well over a pair of jeans or shorts.
I only have about 100 miles on them, but they did well through various types of roads (mix of tight twisty roads, highway, sweeping country roads). They are a bit slippery, so gripping the tank with my knees took a little adjustment, but was still possible."

"After going through a few different mounts, this set seems to fit OK on my 2007 KTM XCF-W. I am still not sure I have them and my controls adjusted to where I am happy, but I am tired of trying different mounts at this point. These work. The others I tried simply did not."

Bridgestone Battlax BT016 Rear Tire - 180/55ZR17
Bridgestone has brought their performance packed MotoGP motorcycle tire advancements to the streets in the form of the Battlax BT016. The Bridgestone Battlax BT016 boasts a 5LC triple compound design that provides ideal grip performance that is demanded for all riding styles. The center compound provides good stability. The shoulder compound transfers engine power to the road with strong traction. The edge compound offers strong side grip and solid contact feel at deep lean angles. Bridgestone has constructed the Battlax BT016 tire with Mono Spiral Belt (MSB) technology. The MSB construction is a continuous single strand wrapped around the circumference of the tire, which eliminates overlapping of the belts, seams and joints. What does all this mean? Your motorcycle will be more stable due to less internal heat generation with improved bump absorption. Bridgestone has focused on all details of the Battlax BT016 including the tread. The BT016 features L shaped grooves that enhance bump absorption and rear-end steering. Bridgestone also made sure the grooves do not cross to increase high speed durability. The Battlax BT016 uses HTSPC (High Tensile Super Penetrated Cord), which is a first for a radial motorcycle tire. This technology allows the tire to be more flexible, provides more stability without reduction in bump absorption, and minimizes the generation of heat throughout the tire.
Ease of Installation:
Great tires, but a little old
April 20, 2011
"I just had my second set of these tires installed. I was plenty happy after the first set. Most of my riding ends up being commuting, but these do well in the twisties too (sorry no track days for me). For as well as they grip, they seem to have good treadlife. I got a little over 8000 miles on the last set.
I do have one gripe, and it is more about MotoSport than the tires themselves. In this last set I ordered, the new rear tire is over 2 years old. That's a lot of sitting on a shelf. I'll be inclined to buy them locally and ensure I get a fresher set next time. Buyer beware."
