VTRhornmono's Reviews

Full Spec Sport Touring Tire A new tire realizing consistent performance between Touring and Sport riding. Long wear life, high level of wet performance for Touring, and high performance similar to a Sport tire. Advanced new Sport Touring tire. Consistent performance for use on heavyweight bikes. Solid mileage for touring. Appropriate pattern, construction and compound provide substantial wear life. 30% up vs. BT-021. Appropriate combination of pattern and compound supports stable cornering even in wet conditions. Strong stability in high speed cruising, with grip and steering control like a sport tire. Comfortable cruising for touring with good bump absorption and less noise. This contributes to richer feedback and a more secure contact feel in all conditions. Silica Rich Ex (front), Silica Rich (rear) and RC polymer offer strong wet performance and wear life. Provides good bump absorption, grip and stability during high speed riding. 3LC (3 Layer Compound) provides grip performance demanded in every aspect and all riding modes. The center compound offers linear handling. The shoulder compound secures high grip and solid contact feeling.

"I was dying to get rid of the worthless Pilot Road 3's on my ST1100, and these are the first Bridgestones I put on it. Mucho better, fixed the instability on the freeway and turns in much better. Real good tread depth so looks to last well. They do sit a little taller but didn;t affect handling in a bad way. the GT front tire for heavier bikes is a heavier tire but will see how it lasts. Looks good after a couple weeks..."
