Great Helmet
December 25, 2010
"This is a high quality helmet that really feels like it's giving me great protection and it looks FANTASTIC. I was a little worried about ordering a medium w/out having tried one on before but when it came I slipped it on and it was very comfortable and true to size. Previously I've had a Fox V2 helmet and this was a step up in quality and construction and fit. The one thing I haven't tried yet is pulling out the liner to wash it b/c the instructions say it comes out but along the top of he forehead I haven't figured out how to pull it off yet w/out tearing it. I'm sure it's just me. The cheek pads come out easily."

Too short...
November 24, 2010
"Im my opinion these pants sit too low on my hips. So these pants keep pulling down when I ride b/c they need to allow more room between the crotch area and the waistband. I'm 5'9" and about 195lbs and I found these pants to be too short in that area. As a result I'm constantly having to pull them up while riding. I wouldn't buy these pants again unless they change that."

"I love this helmet, it fits great and looks fantastic and is really light too. I was a little worried about what size to get having never tried one on but I ordered a medium and it fits fine."

Good stuff...
October 29, 2010
"This SC1 stuff is really awesome. Just spray it on, wait about 30 seconds and wipe off and it makes the plastics and decals really shine up. It seems to last a few rides before needing it again and it's a little bit water repellent which is good for when wash your bike. If you put some on the shrounds it makes it a little slippery and hard to grip the bike with your legs and knees but after awhile it wears off so no big deal."

Dont bother...
February 14, 2010
"First of all this is not sold in pairs and it second it's a hassle to put on. I didnt even use them once and I'm going to return them. EVS makes some "wrister" gloves which are much better."

SWEET!....
February 14, 2010
"Great quality and look fantastic! These levers are really sweet looking and much smoother then my stock one which were getting loose. I was impressed with the variety of ways to adjust them too. The brake lever is a "shorty" lever which I wasnt aware of so that was a little surprise but I can get use to it."

This adapter allows you to use an ASV unbreakable universal brake lever BLH01 (C5), BHF30 (F3), or BLF11 (F1) to fit the late model Honda CRF (2007 - 2011). Note: For 2007+ CRF250R / 450R, this adapter is required.

Not needed...
February 14, 2010
"I bought this at the same time I bought the ASV F3 brake/clutch combo pack and it was not needed on my 2008 CRF 250R. Quality seemed good if I needed to use it but now just need to return it."

Not bad, could be a little higher...
January 15, 2010
"It's a pretty clever lift concept and overall I'm happy with the stand and continue to use it.
It didnt' take me long to figure out how fast I need to push it thru so it lifts up like it should. When it's on the stand it's very sturdy and stable and easy to slide it foward or back a little as needed.
My only (small) complaint is that I wish it lifted the bike a little higher, like maybe 2 inches. That way it would be sure to get both tires off the ground so it would be a easy to wash/spin the tires. If the ground is not level one tire or the other seems to hit the ground. Not a big deal though. I have a 2008 CRF250R so it might be a little different for other bikes."

Cool Clutch Cover!!!
January 3, 2010
"This clutch cover is REALLY cool looking and after having it a few weeks now it seems to be resisting wear and tear from boot marks etc.
My OEM cover (for 2008 CRF250R) had a real O-ring type of rubber gasket and this one came with a standard looking cardboard/paper gasket so was a little disappointed and concernd it would not seal properly but so far no leaks so no problem.
Overall very happy with it and would buy it again if it got damaged. Since it's just a cover I doubt I picked up any power or performance but I "feel" faster with it!! Seriously though it's nice bike bling."

Have metal insert and mounting w/hot start...

Do these have metal inserts to brace them?

Also, I have a 2008 crf with stock handlebar and my hot start lever is on the left, will I still be able to mount these on w/that hot start already there?

Which color for Honda CRF250R...

I have a 2008 crf250R and recently replaced all the plastics w/a Acerbis kit and selected the OEM color so which color of red should I get? I would like it to match the color of my current plastics. Also, is the "Acerbis" lettering on the handguard a sticker or is it printed into the plastic? I'm hoping it's a sticker b/c I would take it off and put some other stickers on.

The unique attributes of the Dr. Ds step system allow for a more efficient intake stroke. It does this by resisting the reflective exhaust pulse during the intake / exhaust overlap. In plain language, the carefully tuned steps in the system allow for a lower net cylinder pressure, which gives a crisper throttle response from bottom to top. The key advantage of the Step System is improved low end response with substantial gain in the mid and top ranges. Dyno tests show a 3.6 horsepower increase at peak. The Dr. D Spark Arrestor System is designed for riders who are looking for the same extraordinary performance characteristics of the Dr. D Race System, but also need to quickly adapt the system to meet USFS spark arrestor and/or noise level requirements. The DR. D complete exhaust system is birthed from Doug Dubach, who brings years of experience to the motocross and supercross scene. DR. D constructed this complete exhaust system with an aluminum muffler in conjunction with a magnesium end cap to reduce weight and stainless steel head and mid pipe to provide long lasting durability. DR. D welds the stainless steel mid pipe to the aluminum muffler to eliminate weak points and excessive weight in the exhaust system that spring connections can cause. To create a solid mounting point DR. D uses a CNC billet hanger on the extruded aluminum muffler sleeve. The magnesium end cap on the DR. D complete exhaust system is easily removable to access the spark arrestor screen. With the spark arrestor installed the exhaust system meets USFS approval. Repacking the DR. D aluminum muffler is simple with the removable bolts on the lower end of the sleeve. The DR. D complete exhaust system includes: aluminum muffler with stainless steel mid pipe, stainless steel head pipe, USFS-approved spark arrestor.

How many do I need...

I have a 2008 Honda CRF250R (which has dual pipes) so do I need to buy 2 kits or do I just buy one and plug the other one? I assume I need two but I read one of the other reviews where a guy went from 2 to 1 but I think it was on a yamaha. I'm new to the sport so I know this probably sounds like a silly question.
