Half the Power Loss - Compared with Normal O-ring chains, D.I.Ds patented X-Ring construction reduces friction by twisting between the side plates instead of being squashed. Normal O-rings and other makers modified O-rings have squashed points that increase friction. "Ended up using the rivet master link that came with it. It's more of a pain putting it on, but probably worth it. Had to tighten up the chain a little after the first ride but it hasn't stretched at all in the two rides since. I was adjusting my old high quality non-o-ring chain after every ride before this one. Overall I'm happy with it, even for the high price."
