The Bridgestone Battlax BT003 Racing Street tire is the ultimate street tire that handles the back road twisties during the week, and the knee dragging hairpins on the weekend. The Battlax BT003 Racing Street model tire was created after the Bridgestone BT003 Racing tire, but handles the street demands such as uneven or wet pavement. Bridgestone took their MotoGP technology and imbedded them into the BT003 to produce a dual compound tire designed for the your streets. Dual compound technology on the BT003 tire provides a higher mileage tire while generating exceptional corner grip. A unique Mono Spiral Belt construction found on the BT003 creates a continuous belt around the tire, eliminating overlapping to reduce weight and increase high bump absorption. Bridgestone developed a Silca rich compound that heats the BT003RS tire quicker, providing traction from the time your motorcycle's engine cranks. Super Sport bikes need another Bridgestone created technology. The Ultraction Compound on the BT003RS gives the best possible grip performance on public roads or dry circuits. The center S shaped grooves on the front BT003 tire improves contact feel and braking grip, while the longer shoulder grooves enhance wet grip and shock absorption on public roads. Diving into a corner easily is crucial to cut down lap times or avoid street obstacles so Bridgestone reduced the negative ratio in the shoulder part of the tread of the BT003.

good track tire, but they wear quickly
July 17, 2011
"First the pluses: front & rear balanced with no weights - they are very uniform. The carcass is very compliant and the feel it totally neutral. Grip is very good, but as other reviewers commented, psi is very importantt & the 190/55 is better for cornering. The down side is the 003 rear doesn’t last. I went through 1/2 the side tread in one track day. The center looks brand new, but I'll be showing bars on the side in about 500 miles of canyons + the 1 track day. There is no noticeable hwy wear. If you're a street guy, the 016 is the pick. It will do everything the 003 does on the street and last 3x longer doing it."

Michelin designed the StarCross MS3 motorcycle tire for soft to intermediate terrain. Michelin StarCross MS3 tires were developed with serious racers in mind, and feature a reversible tread pattern that clearly shows when to reverse the tire on the rim. With mirror image knobs, the Michelin MS3 motorcycle tire provides equal traction in both directions on a wide range of terrain. The Michelin MS3 tire also features an M-block knob pattern with reinforced scoop-like knobs that are widely spaced with staggered shoulder knobs for superb cornering action. Michelin MS3 tires also feature super stiff sidewalls for high-impact shock absorption on impact. The Michelin StarCross MS3 tire has a flexible tread pattern that minimizes rebound on rough tracks and helps keep the tire in contact with the ground. Note: The Michelin StarCross MS3 motorcycle tire is sold individually.

Great Traction!!
January 27, 2011
"I bought a set of MS3 exclusively for track use. So far they provide excellent and predictable traction. Whether hard braking, accelerating through loam or cranking the bike hard over in berms, these tires are confidence inspiring. The wear characteristics are very good as well for soft to medium terrain."

They do the job, but not like OEM
February 17, 2010
"As other reviewers stated, the plastic is thinner than OEM. The fenders need to be formed straight after instillation with a hairdryer. The front fender for the KX250F is narrower than OEM. They don’t fit as well as OEM. BUT... they are way cheaper!!"

You need the right spring rate
January 8, 2010
"Yes, this is an excellent product and will dramatically improve your bike's handling (turns, braking, acceleration, jumps) BUT make sure you buy the right spring. Call Factory Connection tech support first, and then buy. I originally bought based on Race Tech's website recommendations and was off by 2 spring rates. Fortunately for me, I live by FC and they swapped out the spring. Don't forget to buy the fork springs as well."
