"Very nice and sturdy material. The straps are confortable and the waist and chest straps are very handy. The shell is semi-rigid which makes sorting things inside handy. There's one little drawback...although it claims to be able to accomodate 15" laptops, mine was quite difficult to slip in the padded area (probably because a bulky casing). However if you have a slimmer laptop or a handy netbook the computer area is great. Overall It's a very nice buy, keeps things tidy in a handy package."
As part of their continuing quality improvement program, the RK Chain Factory has made a running production upgrade to their best selling 520XSO chain. The new upgrade GBXSO and non-gold XSO chains features RKs proprietary "RX-Ring" seal design and is offered in 520, 525 and 530 versions. Viewed in cross-section, the RK "RX-Ring" has two lubrication pools and seal points versus the single seal point / pool design of a regular O-ring chain. RKs new GBXSO chains offer quality, performance and unbeatable value, for all but the most demanding high performance applications. High-performing, durable chain that will last five to eight times longer than your standard motorcycle chain. Constructed from polished, shot-peened alloy steel providing high tensile strength for maximum performance. RK RX-ring seals are made from an advanced Nitrile Butadiene composite for maximum performance and wear life. Side plate treatment helps prevent corrosion. Designed to make any motorcycle look stylish. Average tensile strength of 8,500 pounds. Wear life index: 750. Maximum displacement (street / dirt): 750cc / 750cc. Weight (per 100 links): 3.36 pounds. You dont have to be world champion to get your hands on Michelin racing tire technology. Pilot Power tires use a rubber mix that was originally developed for MotoGP racing, and a tread pattern that covers less than 12% of the tires surface. The result is a maximum lean angle of 50.6 degrees on dry pavement and 41.9 degrees in the wet, achieved with a stock sportbike. Rubber compound reaches operating temperature quickly. Incredible cornering grip. Impressive durability for a high-performance tire. Designed for high-performance sportbikes. Suitable for street or track use. MotoGP-derived rubber mix. Tread pattern covers less than 12% of the tire surface, for phenomenal cornering adhesion. Synthetic rubber mix derived from MotoGP tire technology, formulated to maintain consistent performance even at advanced stages of tire wear. 50.6 maximum lean angle in the dry, as measured at the Michelin test track. The Michelin Pilot Power ultra high-performance tire has a speed rating of W or up to 168 mph.
"Ok, let me start by saying that almost any new set of tires will inspire confidence back on your ride. Having said that, these tires rock! I am not an expert racer, or used to 45 degree angle turns, or a track day racer at all. I've been riding for about 2 and a half years and consider my self as an average weekend rider with occasional work commuting.
I've replaced my worn/mismatched tires for these and the difference is dramatic. I have much more confidence in turns to the point that I'm leaning farther and faster that was used to. Grip is fantactic and my 600RR picks up speed faster as well. It was raining the day I installed the tires and the ride home from the installation was a revelation, wet grip is excellent.
There may be stickier tires out there, however for my riding skills, experience and price range this was the best choice."
