MotoX331's Reviews

As the official exhaust of the Rockstar Makita Suzuki Yoshimura Supercross / Motocross team, this exhaust was designed with one thing in mind, winning races. The RS-4 is a unique design with predicated power, a side benefit of a quiet, earthy exhaust note that speaks volumes for performance. Titanium pentagonal shaped muffler sleeve and aluminum mount bracket. Features a polyresonant duplex chamber, a two-staged stepped baffle, and an inovative carbon cone and cap. Durable high-grade titanium tapered header and mid-pipe. Considerable weight reduction. Carbon fiber end cap comes with an AMA Pro Racing insert installed in the muffler. Step-by-step directions and all necessary hardware included for an easy installation.

"One of the best products I've purchased and a must have for the '09 CRF450. The '09 CRF450 falls on its face at about 8200RPM, but this pipe adds about 3+hp on the dyno and brings peak power to about 9500RPM which is a massive improvement.
I didn't realize at first, but I thought the included 94db insert was missing when I unpacked everything. Turns out it is pre-installed and you can see it in the product photo. The pics I added are the pipe without the insert (99db)(almost 1hp gain) and the free exhaust plug and spring puller that come with the kit.
Don't bother with the full carbon kit. It only saves 0.2lbs over this full titanium and carbon will breakdown as the packing wears out. This drops over 2.0lbs from the stock unit. Oh and Titanium is the easiest to maintain(clean) material there is. The stainless calls for occassional polish every few hours of use etc..
So far I love this new setup and it looks totally trick!"

Although the Magura Hydraulic Clutch kit is used by some of the best professional riders across the world, any rider who utilizes this technology will quickly realize what they have been missing on their motorcycle. The Magura Hydraulic Clutch kit reduces rider fatigue by easing the clutch pull by up to 20%. The no fading reliability of the Magura Hydraulic clutch kit means no more worrying about the inconsistency of cable clutches. The self-adjusting feature of the hydraulic clutch kit eliminates the need to constantly re-adjust. Magura made installation easy and packaged the hydraulic clutch kit ready to install.

"Excellent Product
I just recieved mine and got it installed on my '09 CRF450R. I purchased the Clutch, Steel Braided line, & bleed kit. I would definitely recommend getting the bleed kit! It comes with nice little hose and syringe for bleeding the system easily. Not sure what everyone else's issue was, but even with swapping out the stock line for the steel braided line (as per most people's recommendation) and bleeding the system, the install only took me about 1hr. I did have to zip tie the line to an oil hose to keep it off the exhaust header, but other than that, the install was easy. It is just a matter of time before all the bikes come stock with a Hydraulic Clutch. This by far blows away the stock cable clutch. The pull is amazing! It is so fluid and smooth. I can literally feather the clutch with 1 finger easily when needed. It feels absolutely effortless doing moto sessions @ the track. There is a reason Millsaps, Short and Canard are running works units on their 450's in 2010..

Does RS4 Pipe, come with the 96 & 94 db inserts?

No.. It only comes with a 94db insert. You can remove the insert which makes it 99db and adds about 1hp.

The photos are with and without the 94db insert installed.

Excel wheels are a standard of motorcycle excellence, and their spokes are built to withstand the rigors of aggressive riding and racing. Excel spokes include a set of highly polished 302 stainless spokes with an average tensile strength 10% higher than stock spokes. Excel spokes are constructed with 6-point Spline-drive nipples for maximum strength and durability. Excel Spokes include a spoke wrench for easy and complete installation. Note: The Excel spoke and nipple kit will work with Excel rims and some O.E.M. rims and is ONLY compatible with O.E.M. hubs.

do i need a special tool for these spokes. Because it says it is a spline drive, so would i need a special wrench

Yes.

You need a spline drive spoke wrench. It kind of wraps around the spoke nipple.

what does the 19" measure?

what exactly does that mean? the length of the spoke? and if so how do you know what size spoke i should buy?

i know my tire dimension is 100/90-19 if that helps
It means they are for a standard 19" rim.

100/90-19 is a 19" rim

100 = Tread width
90 = Sidewall height
19 = Diameter

 PRO CIRCUIT PIPE WORKS FINISH
PRO CIRCUIT PIPE WORKS FINISH
The original Pro Circuit Works pipe offers unparalleled performance and power for every two-stroke application. Increased horsepower and torque gains will quickly be noticed across the entire rpm range. The unplated, oiled metal finish requires some maintenance, but gives your bike that 'Works' look.

maitnence?

what do i have to do to maintain thew look of it?
and how much more power will it give my 2009 yz 250?
The best way to keep the works pipes looking new is to wash/dry them normally, then get a clean shop towel (paper towel) and liberally apply WD-40 to the shop towel and wipe the entire pipe down.

Your pipe will look brand new and keep it from gathering any type of surface rust.

Made with Aerospace 2050 aluminum. New chemically applied "un-sticker graphics". Knurled clutch side for secure grip hold. 1/4" cut guides for precise modification. Includes new high-density molded pad. "Solid Mounts" bolt on top of stock 7/8" bar mounts, and adds 1/4" rise. "Rubber Mounts" replace the stock bar mounts on CR/CRF, KX/KXF and RMZ models.

Will my stock 7/8 throttle tube fit on these bars?

Yes.

The diameter for the bar ends does not change for any oversized bar. The diameter gradually tapers to a larger size beyond the grip area.

how do the tear-offs work for this goggle?

there is not a 3rd tear-off post so i didnt know how i was supposed to fold the tear-off back around so they come off 1 by 1
There is never a 3rd tear-off post.

1. You put the first tear off on how you like. (I keep the tab on the clutch side)

2. On the second (and subsequent) tear-offs you start by popping the non-tab side down then BEFORE you pop the tab side down on the 2nd tear-off you fold the tab from the 1st tear-off forward over the post and use the 2nd tear-off to hold the folded 1st tab down.

Rinse and repeat to add more..

3. Do not crease the tabs when folding. You want them to spring open as you pull the one above it.

If you need the burliest tire to get the job done, the SE3 is the right choice.

Purchased Artrax 125/250F combo. Bead on front tire will not set, what do I do?

1. Mix up a little dish soap and water solution in a spray bottle

2. Let the air out of the tire

3. Depress the tire from the bead and liberally spray the solution between the rim and tire bead. You don't have to drench it but get it wet.

4. Air up the tire again. You may have to put 30-40psi in the tire initially to get it to seat.

5. Once the tire is set, take a dry rag and wipe any excess solution from the tire/rim and let it air dry for 10-15min.

6. Set the air pressure. I use 12-14psi depending on riding conditions.

srocket size?

ok so i have a 2003 cr250r and i have a 13t sprocket on the front and a 46t sprocket on the back. so i bought a 49t for the back and now my bike has way to much torque what size can i put on the front to even the gearing out?...or make it the same as the 13t to 46t...thanks
Adding 1 tooth to the front sprocket (14t) would be like dropping about 2-21/2 teeth from the rear.

A 14t / 49t would be similar to a 13t front and 46-1/2t rear setup.
