"If you are like most of us then price does matter. This helmet will not dissapoint. It does not offer the extreme comfort of an expensive helmet but you can keep it on your noodle all day with no complaints. If you had to pick it appart the only real problem would be with wind noise, nothing a set of ear plugs won't fix though."

BELL SPRINT MAKO
Lightweight composition fiberglass shell. Tool-less, no-hassle flip down shield. NutraFog® anti-fog, anti-scratch, and UV protected shield. Adjustable flow-through ventilation system for cooling and comfort. Adjustable chin vent to aid in cooling and shield defogging. Removable and washable, air channeled comfort liner. "What happened to Bell, I can remember when Arai was sold at major retailors and Bell was the top of the line. These helmets are like putting an oversized lightbuld on your noggin, it is huge and heavy and has the aerodynamics of, well, a cheap helmet. You are getting what you pay for, safety with no cool points."

SHOEI RF-1000 DIABOLIC 2 BLACK
Aerodynamic properties are maximized through extensive wind tunnel and rider testing. Aero stabilizer dramatically reduces drag and lift coefficients. Two-layer liner offers unmatched ventilation with internal channels and exhaust ports throughout the helmet. High performance fiber materials are combined with extremely elastic organic fibers to create a shell structure that is ultra lightweight, rigid and resilient. Removable interior cheek pads available in optional sizes for a custom fit. Q.R.B.P.(Quick Release Base Plate) allows tool-less shield removal.
"The RF-1000 is such and improvement over the 900, thank you Shoei. All Shoei helmets offer the very best of quiet riding and good venting, something that usually does not go together. The killer paint is thick and holds up well to the occasional screw-up and if you wash its liner you can still put it back in. This is the best bang for your big bucks."

PIRELLI TIRE DIABLO CORSA 3 REAR 190/50ZR17
New true dual-compound rear tire improves everyday street and track-day performance. Designed to set new standards in street performance with increased confidence for track usage. High-tech Diablo Corsa tread pattern is utilized with a new front compound to increase performance and rider feedback. Improved corner entry under hard braking. Provide quick warm-up and confidence-inspiring handling. W-rated for speeds up to 168 mph.
"The C-3 is great, you get long wear, perfect grip to knee down, supperb water shedding and the Itallian appeal. I ride hard on the "wonderfully" paved roads of Central Oregon and these will give me 3500+ miles on a rear, and I lose the edges before the middle. I am a fan of the quick turning 180 but if you prefer the long straights and big bends then go for the 190."

DUNLOP SPORTMAX GP REAR TIRE 190/60ZR17
New tire matches the rock-solid stability and predictability of the legendary D208 GP-A, while also enhancing the cornering grip necessary to exploit the full potential of today's Supersport racing motorcycles. Multi-compound rear tire has an advanced design that grips strongly when cornering, yet features a cool-running compound that maintains straight-line stability and traction when the bike is upright. New tread pattern keeps the driving and braking forces aligned properly as cornering forces come into play. Tread design and construction delivers highest level of track performance. Tread pattern also has superior wet-surface grip without sacrificing drysurface wear. DOT approved. W-rated for speeds up to 168 mph.
"I happen to have a poor opinion of all Dunlop tires accept the Qualifier, which is the actual race development tire. Every one of these Sportmaxes that I have come in contact with has gone hard on me and cupped the tread well before it ever gets worn. If you ride hard and value traction then stay away. But hay, at least they are expensive."
You dont have to be world champion to get your hands on Michelin racing tire technology. Pilot Power tires use a rubber mix that was originally developed for MotoGP racing, and a tread pattern that covers less than 12% of the tires surface. The result is a maximum lean angle of 50.6 degrees on dry pavement and 41.9 degrees in the wet, achieved with a stock sportbike. Rubber compound reaches operating temperature quickly. Incredible cornering grip. Impressive durability for a high-performance tire. Designed for high-performance sportbikes. Suitable for street or track use. MotoGP-derived rubber mix. Tread pattern covers less than 12% of the tire surface, for phenomenal cornering adhesion. Synthetic rubber mix derived from MotoGP tire technology, formulated to maintain consistent performance even at advanced stages of tire wear. 50.6 maximum lean angle in the dry, as measured at the Michelin test track. The Michelin Pilot Power ultra high-performance tire has a speed rating of W or up to 168 mph.
"The second best you can do for carving the canyons in most weather conditions. I am partial to Perelli Diablos but most of my riding mates prefer the Michelin. It is a bit soft, takes a fair ways to warm up and wears quickly. But they never "grease" out or go hard on you and can be used on the occasional light rain day. Buy the matched set, the rule is, don't mix match."

DYNOJET POWER COMMANDER 3 USB HARLEY
Provides precise information for fine-tuning fuel-injected bikes when changing an air filter, installing a new exhaust, or doing additional engine modifications. Each unit includes a built-in microprocessor and specific map designed to improve engine performance over stock; Dynojet continuously maps new calibrations for each bike for downloading at their web site.(www.powercommander.com). If you do not have a computer, you can change the setting with three touch buttons on the faceplate. OEM-style wiring connectors with improved harness protection are supplied; no wiring modifications required. Features an expansion port for future add-on modules. Software is compatible with Windows 98SE/ME/2000/XP.
"Of course you should buy it. A stock bike is good but a Power Commander is what makes you get wood. You will definetly need one if you change out your exhaust. The additional parts like the quick shifter are also top notch."

TWO BROTHERS M-2 VALE TITANIUM SLIP-ON
The V.A.L.E. (Variable Axis Locking Exhaust) system is a revolutionary and patented method of attaching muffler canisters to the exhaust tube without the use of springs or welding. The V.A.L.E. system allows the muffler assembly to be positioned perfectly on the bike before all the mounting hardware is fully tightened. The M-2 exhaust system features an exclusive teflon coated, blunted, cast magnesium outlet that not only looks great but also allows for various silencer inserts. Deep and throaty exhaust note.
"The VALE is a good pipe that sounds like a straight exhaust. I had to go to Two Bros web site and get a $32 noise reduction tip that keeps the sound from going straight up my helmet. The power gain from stock is nominal and "poppy" without the aid of a fuel mudule but if you are like me, its all about getting rid of stock and pulling looks from others."
