Solid product but...
January 29, 2010
"Solid product that looks well built and for the price, wow! I've seen lame cone screens sell for triple that amount so THAT is why I gave it 5 stars even if I encountered a problem.
The problem I have is I can't see how it fits into my carbon fiber yosh exhaust.. I think it is designed for the stainless and ti versions. Haven't had a chance to check with Yoshimura yet."

Awesome!

"Can't get to my adjuster screws because of the fatty bars on my bike. These adjusters make it a snap. This is by far the most practical purchase I have every made for my bike! I was worried it wasn't worth the price but I was wrong. Going to buy them for all my bikes. This was mounted on an '07 Suzuki RMZ 450."

Great Value
January 29, 2010
"Great tube at a great price. So far holding up running at 12 psi even with a couple of hard flat landings."

The insurmountable quality of SDG is proven with their Step Seat, designed for full throttle racing since 1991. The unique shape of the SDG Step Seat provides a ridge toward the back of the seat to keep the rider in the optimal racing position. SDG built the Step Seat ready to install. The nylon composite seat frame is built to OEM specifications. The padding of the seat is constructed out of closed cell foam to provide water-resistance and reduce seat foam breakdown. Wrapping the Step Seat up is a 3 piece gripper seat cover that keeps the rider stuck in position and features double-stitched, taped seams. SDG is a company that is breed for racing and they took advantage of in-house design and shaved weight. The Step Seat was engineered with replaceable mounting brackets on most models.

Not a good fit
January 26, 2010
"Let me start by saying this is a well built, durable seat. However, the fit sucks. The base touchs the subframe cross-member leaving the seat brackets an inch too high when trying to line up the holes. Choices are to force the seat down and install bolts. But back of seat floats, doesn't look right. I notched the seat base to fit over the subframe cross-member, re-drilled the bracket holes and got the seat to go 1 inch lower which is great since I'm only 5'9". Would I buy it again? Probably, just because of the price savings. This was on a 2007 RMZ 450 Suzuki."

Works in both the Pro and Comp Series Exhaust systems with spigot style end cap. Built to reduce exhaust noise to less than 96 dbA. U.S.F.S legal. Bolts directly into the 2-piece end cap.

Won't fit Carbon Fiber unit
January 4, 2010
"Bummers, doesn't fit my Yoshi Carbon Fiber can. Wish they had mentioned that. Besides that painful discovery, unit looks solid, simple and built to last with ease of installaion."

Keone's Questions

Ride Engineering has created a product to make adjusting the suspension simple with no external tools required. The new compression adjuster is extremely low profile and remains on the forks until fork disassembly is required. Imagine being able to pull over, turn the compression in or out for the track conditions, then continue on with the moto! Kit includes: two adjusters, 8 set screws and an Allen wrench for installation.

How many are in a package?

I assume they are sold in pairs.
