A removable waterproof liner gives the Joe Rocket Phoenix 5.0 jacket outstanding performance in any weather. Joe Rocket shows their commitment to safety by equipping the Phoenix 5.0 motorcycle jacket with C.E. rated armor in the shoulders and elbows. The Joe Rocket Phoenix 5.0 jacket includes a removable spine pad with a pocket for an optional C.E. spine protector for maximum protection. To achieve a perfect fit the Joe Rocket Phoenix 5.0 jacket is designed with elastic sleeve adjusters. A Sure Fit adjustable waistband further aides you in getting a custom like fit. An 8" zipper is built into the Joe Rocket Phoenix 5.0 jacket to allow you to zip motorcycle pants to the jacket. A reflective stripe is built into the Joe Rocket Phoenix 5.0 jacket giving it maximum style, as well as increasing nighttime visibility. "Well I just bought this jacket a week ago I like the air flow it offers and it's lightweight. It's vented so well that you can look right through the jacket anywhere there isn't any armor. Like any other Joe Rocket jacket you feel protected from the start but I plan to upgrade the back armor."

The Firstgear Thermo 1-Piece eliminates the excuse of canceling a ride because of rain with the 100% waterproof barrier. The 210 Denier Hypertex shell of the Firstgear Thermo suit gives the 100% waterproof ability with a tough resistance to wear. Cold weather will not stop the Thermo suit from keeping you warm thanks to the 120 gram polyester insulation. Storm flaps cover the zippers at the front closure, side pockets and cuffs to keep water out of the Thermo suit. Firstgear added cargo pockets to the sides of the Thermo suit to provide easy access to items. The elastic lower leg cuffs and adjustable arm cuffs keep the Thermo suit from moving while the adjustable waist takes up the slack or adds some to it for a great fit. Firstgear includes their 1 year warranty with the Thermo suit.

Worth the Money

"This Thermo Suit is a great winter suit. I have used it for two years now and once the weather drops below 35 I am using it. It’s so warm in that temp I wear just a T-shirt and jeans under it. I have taken it out in 16 degrees with no fear of the cold. The only thing that I don’t like much is you don’t have much traction in the saddle because of the nylon. If you ride a sports bike you won’t get many cool points nor will you have the Armor you are use to, but you will be warm. I live in Texas and I don’t like the cold but this suit allows me to enjoy my bike all year around."

"This was the third sprocket i have bought. it's the only one that i used up in less then 3k. the teeth wore way to fast for me. preformed very well though."

How does this jacket perform in minus degree wind chill weather?
I am sure very poorly since it's was made to vent as must air as possible.
