Pro Taper grips are some of the most widely used grips in professional motocross because of the quality grips they offer. The Pro Taper Pillow Top grips are no exception. The new Pro Taper Pillow Top Lite grips utilize a low profile design for better feel and hand control. The Pro Taper Pillow Top Lite grips are covered in small square cushions (pillows) which give the riders hand extra support and comfort. The Pro Taper Pillow Top Lite grips are made of a custom Kraton rubber compound which provides a super-tacky feel and great glove traction. The thickness of the Pro Taper Pillow Top Lite grips provides excellent vibration dampening which will aid in the resistance of armpump and hand fatigue. Pro Taper Pillow Top Lite grips fit any standard or oversized handle bars for motorcycles and ATVs with a twist throttle application.

Get the full pillow grips!
December 2, 2012
"These are decent grips, similar to stock stuff. They just don't feel the same as the full pillow grip grips - less material, easier to tear. I would only use these if you have smaller hands. Average hand size and up should absolutely go with the full pillow top grips."

Very small
December 2, 2012
"I'm a taller guy, I grabbed this for the "adjustability" that was advertised. Turns out there is very little adjustment, and this chest protector ends up looking like a bib on anyone over 6'. I ordered an extra large and swear that I thought it was a youth size when I first opened the box.
Comfort is good, straps keep it nice and tight around your torso. I would have returned it if I thought I'd be able to find something bigger. Nobody really makes chest protectors for tall riders anymore!"

Nice loose fit
December 2, 2012
"These are great tucked into MX boots - nice and slack, leaves room for knee braces and pads. Was very comfortable riding with these, would buy again.
One of the knee zippers broke after a couple of rides, but I was able to fix it. I don't use them as shorts (and I dont see why anybody would, a hot exhaust is not fun against skin!)"

Important note: This piston is for a stock sized bore. Please measure your cylinder to check clearance before ordering. As the OE supplier of two-stroke pistons to KTM, Vertex pistons have an outstanding reputation for quality and performance. Each gravity-cast piston is created with only premium aluminum alloys utilizing an 12 - 21% silicon content. The silicon content in Vertex pistons is crucial to the quality of the piston. Silicon is critical in decreasing thermal expansion which, when an engine reaches normal operating temperatures, can change the geometry of the piston. Controlling this expansion means that a Vertex piston can be run at tighter tolerances for more power, less noise and maintain a longer lifespan for the piston. Additionally, the silicon content decreases wear on the piston skirt which also aids in the longevity of the piston. In addition to the silicon, each Vertex piston utilizes a unique Molybdenum Disulphide (MOS2) coating which aids in the break-in process and reduces overall wear. Bore diameter: 46.95 mm (Standard). With the purchase of a premium quality piston, every Vertex piston kit contains a complete set of nitride-coated or chrome-plated piston rings, a fully case-hardened wrist pin and circlips - all at a competitive price.

KTM's - careful of piston type!
December 2, 2012
"This ended up being a type 1(type A) piston, which is the stock piston from the factory and is slightly smaller in diamater than a type 2(type B) piston. All replacement pistons should be type 2, since the larger piston will fit in a broken-in cylinder better, unless you've just had your piston replated.
It didn't damage anything, but I ended up having poor compression because of the slack fit of the smaller piston. Replaced it with an OEM type 2 and noticed a difference immediatey."

Favorite grips
December 2, 2012
"These are fantastic, will use these on any bike I own. Lots of material makes them much more comfortable for larger hands, reduces arm pump quite a bit. Whatever rubber material they use makes them very easy to install, have struggled with other grips.
They wear and tear like any other grip, but inexpensive enough that it isn't an issue. I usually buy a couple pair at a time, so I have some spares around."

Simply doesn't work
December 2, 2012
"Really frustrated with this thing - simply does not function has a sprocket holder. The pegs that fit into the sprocket spaces slip out very easy. The adjustment screw keeps the arms from closing any further rather than opening - what?! Obviously the physical presence of the sprocket is going to keep the thing from closing, what I need is a stopper screw to keep it from *opening.*
I don't believe the builders of this product ever actually tried to use it - if so, and they're selling it anyway, they are absolute crooks. Tighten the hinge as tightly as your want (with a screwdriver, at that), it will slip open/off under any type of twisting pressure from the sprocket.
Simply put, this sprocket holder does not hold sprockets. Do not buy!"

State-of-the-art gaskets is what Cometic has been doing since its inception in 1989. This comes from their dedication to constructing gaskets for the most demanding race circuits like AMA and NASCAR. Todays lightweight engines are producing more horsepower, higher cylinder pressure, clamp load and extreme temperatures. Cometics commitment is to provide innovative, quality gaskets while maximizing your engines power and performance. Cometic meets the needs of each specific gasket by using materials to match. Even the basic top end gasket kit features different materials for each gasket. The head gasket is constructed from non-asbestos, flexible graphite that is laminated to a stainless steel core. The manifold and base gaskets are constructed from non-asbestos nitride rubber-bound fiber. Cometic also includes copper gaskets where needed. Cometic designs and builds their gaskets in the U.S.A. This kit contains the following components: 1 - Inner head O-ring. 1 - Outer head O-ring. 5 - Head crush washers. 2 - Base gaskets. 1 - Intake gasket. 1 - Exhaust gasket.

Not for KTM
September 9, 2012
"Gaskets were not correct for KTMs, they need base gaskets of various sizes to get the "x" dimension as close to zero as possible. This kit came with one very thin base gasket, not useable.
One of the valve cover gaskets was not the correct shape, either - too big for the '12 KTM 150sx that I ordered it for."
