Maxima FFT is the culmination of a 3-year development program which resulted in a synthetic polymer formulation that flows 4 - 12% more air and retains up to 8% more contaminants than all other brands. It resists both water and gasoline "fogging" wash out. Will not migrate off the filter, or dry out. Special solvent will not adversely effect either the foam element or the cement utilized to bond them together. Increased air flow. Greater contaminant retention. Water-resistant. Resists "wash out" from carburetor fogging. Will not dry out. Super "tacky" formula. Color: blue. Caution: Flammable! Avoid open flame or excessive heat. Avoid prolonged inhalation of solvent vapors..

"It works great. Makes a mess putting it on. Put the filter in in a Ziploc bag and apply the oil, squeezing it in and out, until thoroughly worked through and saturated while squeezed tightly. When it can't hold any more while being squeezed in a tight ball that the way I like it. Let go of it and leave it in the bag until ready to use.
Mineral spirits will work just fine as a solvent for cleanup and cleaning the oil oil out of the filter. Follow this by washing in water and dish washing detergent if you want. It comes out looking more like new with the soap and water finish. Some folks put the filter in the dryer. I just let the new oil squeeze out most of the water and the oil stays in."

Comes with spacers

"These don't show it in the picture or state it in the write up, but they do come with the spacer that the seal rides on. At least for my 2003 KTM 250 SX they do. And these are the same one for most of the "Big Bike" KTM's. The spacers are aluminum and red anodized.
I ordered a set of All Ball spacers with the steal insert for the seal to ride on because I didn't know these came with the spacers.
The spacers fit a little tight in the bearing. They were a tight slip fit. One galled a bit or had a burr on it and I had to file it to get it to slip into the bearing. That is not the part where the seal rides so it was not problem.
I removed the seal on one side of each bearing and repacked with marine grease. This is highly recommend with any new or used bearing when you have it out. All new bearings, even NSK or Timken bearings come with a grease that looks like Vaseline, very little of it, and it is not very water proof. It is easy to remove the seals with a sharp pick, pack the bearings, and the seals go back in very nicely by pressing with your fingers.
I pack the area between the seals and bearings and the lip of the seal with marine grease as well."

What is the dampening system? Is there something in the Bars? Is is Heavy? Is that why they are a hazerdous shipping item?
That may be more then one question, but I think they all must be related to whatever dampening system is in place. Why is there no description of this?

What size bottle it this?
It comes in different sizes. I think it would be a good idea to state the size. I can't read the bottle in the picture.

Do I need to use the cross bar
Are these thinner then the Renthals requiring the use of a cross bar. My cables catch on the bar clamps unless I use a fat bar low pad.
That sounds like you have a KTM two stroke. If that's the case, to fix the throttle cable catching problem, get a longer one for a Honda CR250R or Motion Pro and run it in front of the bars between the number plate and triple clamps instead behind the forks.

What exactly is in this kit?
Is it the ball bearings and all?
On my KTM 2003 250 SX (same bearings as most of the big bike KTM's) it also had the spacers which is also the surface the seal rides on so it renews this surface as well.
