"Good plastic from Italy! Only problem was with the way the plastic was packed. The front fender had a severe twist, and was not straight when it was removed from the box, but after several days on the bike, the plastic returned to it's original form."
Important note: This piston is for a stock sized bore. Please measure your cylinder to check clearance before ordering. ProX Piston Kits are a first class solution to replace the original piston in your machine. Most ProX pistons come with a coating. The O.E.M. style tin-coated pistons assist the wear-in process as when you first started the bike. ProX has developed a new skirt coating that not only assists the wear-in process, but also helps reducing friction after the wear-in. The black coating is made from a delicate mix of materials and will increase performance. Cast piston puts engine back to standard specs without boring or replacing cylinder. "I have been told that Pro-X supplies the OEM's. If that is true, then their pistons should be as good as Honda's. Only issue was that I replaced a Pro-X that lost a piston skirt after less than 30 hours. I was told that 2003 CR250's eat piston's though, and that 25-30 hours may be expected."
