Does what it says

"Overall nice quality. I'm a big guy (320 lbs) and I had to modify the adjustment straps on the sides to fit me with my jacket on. Basically re-strung the bungie so that it only uses the bottom two rungs instead of using all three. After that, it works great."

When it comes to motorcycle safety - Icon believes the best possible protection is avoiding the crash altogether. Such was the reasoning behind the Alliance Hi-Viz Helmet. Painted in a UV-resistant fluorescent color and affixed with reflective graphics, the Hi-Viz will dramatically increase your day or night conspicuity. See and be seen. All world standard, meets or exceeds the following:DOT FMVSS 218 (US), ECE 22-05 (Europe), SAI AS1698 (Australia) & SG (Japan)safety and testing standards. Does not ship with SAI or SG certification stickers unless purchased from an authorized dealer in that country. Reflective graphics. Injection molded polycarbonate shell for strength. Long oval headform. Wind tunnel tested and refined. Molded twin channel supervent for increased cooling. Rear exhaust ports prevent heat buildup. Removable molded breath deflector reduces shield fogging. Chin venting system reduces shield fogging. Fully removable/washable hydradry interior. Quick-change fog-free proshield with sideplates. Prolock shield locking system.

Not all helmets are sized for your head
October 6, 2012
"I really wanted to love this helmet, but it just didn't fit. I bought a XXL, and it's way too tight on my head and cheeks. I returned it and bought an HJC XXL helmet and it fits perfectly. If it fits, I'm sure it's a great helmet.
As a side note, the gray area of the helmet is a metal flake (more like glitter) paint. It's not enough to make me return it on looks - after all the point of this helmet is to make sure people see you!

Made for long thumbs!
October 6, 2012
"Overall I love the gloves, but the thumbs must have been made for a freak of nature. I have big hands, and most of the fingers have the perfect length. There's a little extra material on the pinky. The thumb, however, has almost an inch of extra material length wise. I'll just stitch up the slack and call it good. I do feel protected in the event of a get-off, which is the most important thing to me."
