For over 40 years, Alpinestars has produced superior motocross footwear with a paramount commitment to protection, performance and style. The Tech 3 boot represents all of this commitment with an added level of accessibility unmatched by any boot. Ideal for beginners but more than suitable for experts, the Tech 3 offers maximum value and performance at this price point. With its contoured TPU shin plate, reinforced leather rear plate and extended inside and outside guards, the Tech 3 provides some of the best external protection of any boot on the market. The internal shock-absorbing padding protects ankles, while Action leather and front / rear accordion panels allow for a great fitting boot with a low break-in time. As with all of Alpinestars motocross boots, the Tech 3 is CE certified and features replaceable soles and buckles, to ensure maximum performance for many years. The Alpinestars Tech 3 Boots are what you can expect from Alpinestars, high performance and loaded with functional features. The best feature of the Alpinestars Tech 3 Boots is the entry level price. Protection on the Tech 3 Boots are what you can expect from a company like Alpinestars. They have installed contoured shin plate protectors which have been injection-molded with high-modulus polyurethane to provide substantial impact and abrasion resistance. Alpinestars developed a patented "ankle-brace" system for the Tech 3 Boots for great ankle support. This system on the Tech 3 also provides ankle padding to reduce shock. The sole of the Alpinestars Tech 3 Boots provides a rigid platform with the contoured, tempered steel shank that has been over-injected with a dual density rubber to provide tons of grip and give you sure footing. The Tech 3 Boots have extended inside and outside plate guards to provide protection on the side and toe-box areas. The Alpinestars Tech 3 Boots have an internal plastic reinforcement placed on the inside of the boot. This reinforcement provides rigidity to the boot for support. Thick stamped suede covers this up and provides contact grip and heat resistance. The calf plate also helps out with grip, support and side contact on the Tech 3 Boots. Alpinestars uses reinforced leather up the back of the Tech 3 Boots, and their action leather on the upper section for durability. The instep flex-zone has also been stitched for additional support and durability. The Tech 3 Boots will keep you strapped in with the four high impact resistant buckles that feature memory positioning and quick release buckles. Alpinestars uses Velcro brand hook-and-loop attached to the elastic stretch PVC gaiter to seal the top of the boot and prevent water entry. Alpinestars adds plenty of comfort features to the extensive list of protection features. The Tech 3 Boots use a poly-fabric lining in addition to a multi-density EVA foam keeping your feet cozy. If you require a special foot bed Alpinestars accommodates your needs with a removable anatomic foot bed.

Not the best choice
January 21, 2009
"The boots look great but there is a very long break in time and the buckles are very hard to buckle. With that said, they held up great except for the bumps on the shifter side toe coming off. The toe is also very high profile so it can be very difficult to get your toe under the shifter in a hurry."

2008 FOX V3 REPLICA HELMET
Fox calls the V3 Replica the most celebrated and victorious helmet in motocross history. The V3 is the helmet of choice for RC and Stewart. More champagne, more victories and more features. The V3 has been there and won that. The V3 Replica weighs in at 2.9 pounds! Fox built the V3 using a strong, lightweight composite carbon fiber, Kevlar outer shell. 13 vents and 5 vent channels in EPS. Moisture wicking interior. Titanium D-rings.

Great Buy

"This helmet is of very high quality. Extremely light and looks good. Sits s bit lower on my head than other helmets but definitely makes up for it with everything else. Also has very good ventalation with nifty adjustable vents. I have had about eight helmets since I started riding and this is by far the best one yet."

Reflect-A-Cool is a sheet of reflective material with an adhesive back which offers outstanding protection against extreme heat.

can this be used like the cv4 rolls

can this be used like the cv4 rolls?
It is used like the cv4 adhesive mats, not the header wrap. Dont put it directly on the exhaust pipe.

Every few years a product hits the shelf that turns the off-road industry on its head. Leatt has done just that with their revolutionary Leatt Moto GPX Club neck brace. The Leatt Moto GPX Club neck brace was designed to prevent these extreme movements of the rider's neck in the event of a crash: hyper flexion, hyper extension, lateral hyper flexion, axial loading, and posterior hyper translation. The Leatt Moto GPX Club neck brace was designed to re-direct the helmet in the event of a crash so that the brace absorbs and re-directs that energy in a safe manner instead of the neck taking the majority of the impact which could result in a serious injury. Designed by medical professionals with the motorcycle enthusiast in mind. The glass-reinforced nylon fiber and Kevlar body was shaped in a way as to not effect the riders mobility or visibility. With the use of glass-reinforced nylon fiber and Kevlar Leatt was able to create a brace strong enough to absorb significant impacts and stay light at 850 gram so that the rider did not experience fatigue while using the brace on their motorcycle or ATV. Sizing Guideline: Small: 4-16 years old (thin build) Medium: 16 years + (average to bigger build)

Does this work with alot of chest protector

does this neck brace work with the 661 2.5 defender
It is very low profile so it should fit with any chest protector.

What accesories and/or fitments come with the brace?

Along with the larger and smaller clips there is another back support piece with a greater angle for a better fit on thinner riders

Engine Ice is a great way to keep your motorcycle or ATV running cooler and performing well with a product that is not harmful to the environment. Engine Ice is made from Propylene Glycol which is biodegradable and non-toxic. It is premixed with de-ionized water which eliminates all impurities for maximum performance and durability - even distilled water contains particles of metal and chemicals which cause scarring, scaling, clogging and mineral buildup. Engine Ice is proven to reduce motorcycle engine operating temperature by as much as 50F - a necessity for todays high-performance bikes which overheat just idling. Because of Engine Ices non-toxic phosphate-free formula, it is safe for people and pets. Made of Propylene Glycol which is biodegradable and non-toxic. Premixed with deionized water which eliminates all impurities. Proven to reduce operating temperatures by as much as 50F. Engine Ice is the only coolant sold in motorcycle dealerships that is legal in AMA, CCS, FUSA Road Racing and AMA / Prostar Drag Racing. Used by top racers like James Stewart, Ernesto Fonseca, Chad Reed, Randy Hawkins.

Does it freeze?

Is this just regular coolant or is it antifreeze?
It is anitfreeze and I have had good luck with it at 0F but I have heard of other people who had it freeze at 4F.
