Bolt on the Boyesen Quick Shot 2 Accelerator Pump Cover for the missing link your high performance dirt bike or ATV is missing. The Boyesen Quick Shot 2 will boost the fuel capacity into your carburetor by 25% over stock. The boost in fuel by the Quick Shot 2 eliminates hesitation and bog when getting on the throttle. Boyesen engineered the Quick Shot 2 Accelerator Pump Cover with a high volume check valve. An important feature is the accelerated fuel delivery that only the Quick Shot 2 can handle. Improvement on the bottom end will be a noticeable advantage the Quick Shot 2 will give. Running your bike to the limits adds heat which can cause stalling, but the Boyesen Quick Shot 2 will reduce the chances of a hot engine stall. Boyesen designed the Quick Shot 2 so it will fit all FCR Keihin carburetors. The 2007 Honda CRF model houses a high volume check valve that manages fuel through a cartridge design for high sensitivity and instant acceleration.
"I ride a 2005 Honda CRF 450X. I have a full FMF exhaust system, with jetting tuning and other mods. This Boyeson Quickshot 2 definitely helped improve throttle response, snap, and added some power. Or it just made it feel more powerful because of better and smoother response. It did not eliminate bogging, but decreased it, and with the bike jetted to pour fuel to the low end, it is running strong. It is a little pricy for what it does."

"I ride a 2005 Honda CRF 450x. I installed the powercore 4, and the megabomb header. That was a complete system, for anyone wondering... it sounds good and throaty but not obnoxiously loud. Looks sweet, AND AS A COMPLETE SYSTEM, DEFINITELY ADDS POWER AND SNAP TO THE BIKE! If you are trying to fix a hesitation or bog issue, this will only make it worse, unless you rejet to get more fuel to the low end. I am still working on that with mine, and have installed an accelerator pump cover as well. I have a JD Jetting kit installed too. I would recommend all of these products, and definitely get them from moto sport!"
The science behind the MegaBomb header may be FMFs greatest engineering accomplishment to date. You can bolt on a MegaBomb for as much as a 3 horsepower boost, plus the MegaBomb actually reduces noise levels by as much as 1.5dB. Used by Factory Teams, the MegaBomb is the next level technology you can have today. Produces long header torque and short header over-rev. Reduces sound output as much as 1.5dB. Increases output from stock motor as much as 3 HP, alone. Made from premium American stainless metal material. Detailed Specifications: Type: Header. Configuration: Single. Header construction: Stainless steel. Header type: MegaBomb. Note: For closed course competition use only. Not intended for street use.
"FMF megabomb header is a great product! I don't know why people say it gets red hot. I ride a 2005 HOnda CRF 450x, and it definitely creates typical 4 stroke heat. It does not get overly hot though. No guard or wrap needed! I also put a FMF Powercore 4 muffler on, and I have noticed an increase in power and snap. I have always had bad issues with my bike bogging when I pour on the coals, so I have a JD jetting kit, a Boyeson Quickshot 2 accelerator pump cover, and a Twin Air power flow air filter with air box mods. The darn thing still bogs!!! This is a common problem with this model. I am getting closer, and with some more jetting tuning should have it eliminated. If you want more power, definitly go with FMF, but expect the bike to need more fuel in the low end..."
